With winter just around the corner, we are in need of your support to keep our community warm. This year we have accepted the challenge to provide blankets for another two more beneficiaries. Each beneficiary, from Launch Housing and the Royal District Nursing Service – Homeless Peoples Program to UnitingCare and Urban Seed plays a different but crucial role in providing direct support for people experiencing homelessness throughout Victoria. There are over 100,000 people experiencing homelessness at any one time in Australia. This winter, 22,000 people will be experience homelessness in Victoria with 1,100 people sleeping rough on any particular night.

This winter we are launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise an additional $3,000 to help give hope and the warmth of 200 blankets, to the people who need it most. Our fundraising activities have so far resulted in providing over 8000 blankets to people experiencing homelessness throughout Victoria.
